Overview
When on a quick vacation in Nepal, these 7 days Pikey Peak Trek is the ideal way to experience the lower section of world-famous Everest region. This trip starts from Kathmandu by car to Dhap where the magic begins. The trail passes through beautiful Sherpa settlements and you can visit the ancient Buddhist Monastery of Junbesi which is almost 400 years old and Thupten Chholing(Trulshik Rinpoche settled in the region of Khumbhu after fleeing Tibet in 1959) and enjoy the unique Sherpa culture. The Pikey Peak is most popular for its sunrise and sunset views and one can enjoy the sight of seven 8000-metre peaks: Kanchenjunga (8,586m), Makalu(8,485m), Everest(8848m), Lhotse(8,516m), Manaslu(8167m), Annapurna(8091m) and numerous other peaks like GauriShanker, Lhotseshar, Nuptse, AmaDablem, Mera and Thamserku.
